Chicago star Richard Gere kept his wedding to girlfriend of three years Alejandra Silva a big secret, but now the cat’s out of the bag as it’s been revealed that the couple got married earlier this month!

The Pretty Woman actor, 68, married Alejandra, 35, earlier this month in a low-key secret ceremony, according to Hello! Magazine.
It’s the third marriage for him (he was previously married to Cindy Crawford and actress Carey Lowell, the latter is the mother of his only child, 17-year old Homer) and the second for Alejandra (she was previously married to Govind Friedland from 2012-2015 and they share a son, 5-year old Albert).

The wedding took place in early April, however they do plan on actually celebrating the big occasion with their friends and family in New York City on May 8th.
The couple started dating three years ago in Positano, which is located on the Amafi coast of Italy, and were first spotted together at the Madrid premiere of his movie Time Out of Mind the same year. Rumors of their engagement started in November when she was spotted with a diamond ring on her wedding finger.
Marriage won’t be enough for Alejandra as she’s confirmed in the past that they would like to start their own family together. "I was a little lost, without light, and knowing him gave meaning to my life,” she previously told Hola! Magazine. "It was feeling that someone was reaching out and showing me my true path.”
