Rihanna is not expecting anytime soon, thank you very much. On October 16, the “Diamonds” songstress put pregnancy rumors to rest. Rihanna, 31, shared a sexy video on Instagram as she strutted in a chic and skimpy bikini. Fans speculated that the fashion designer was pregnant in September when she claimed she was on “cloud nine” at the Diamond Ball. Her body language also seemed to suggest she was pregnant at the Fenty party during Paris Fashion Week.
Rihanna posted a slow-motion video of herself, as she walked down a path heading towards a staircase. The “Where Have You Been” singer stunned in a black skimpy bikini and carried a beige clutch. She completed the poolside look with a sheer floor-length cover-up and sunglasses. At the end of the clip, she turned to give fans a 360-degree look at her toned body.
Fans loved the social media update, and headed the comments section. “Ahh yes, putting those pregnancy rumors to rest,” a fan wrote. “Pregnant where?” another pondered. A third chimed in, “Y’all better stop rumoring about pregnancy after this,” with the fire emoji.
Other fans showered the songstress with compliments, as they wrote that they would watch the video all day on repeat and were in love with her look. “Stunning as per usual,” one wrote. “The goddess herself,” another fan gushed with the heart emojis.
Pregnancy rumors initially began to swirl when fans thought they caught a glimpse of a baby bump during her performance at the fifth annual Diamond Ball on September 12. She told People magazine that she was on “cloud 9” during the event, and fans thought it had something to do with a pregnancy.
That evening, Rihanna made a comment about giving birth that fans fixated on, and speculated that she’s already pregnant. “Is that a hint that a baby is in the way?” one pondered.
She also posted an Instagram on September 26 of herself, in which she strategically held a clutch in front of her stomach. Fans told her to “quit hiding that belly” and wondered when she would announce the rumored pregnancy.
The “We Found Love” singer has been quietly dating billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel since June 2017.
