Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have officially broken up! After more than two years together, a source claims the Twilight actor, 31, and the singer, 29, have called it quits. The news comes after months of break-up rumors. Although the two got engaged in early 2015, they soon reportedly postponed the wedding. And in November 2016, when asked about wedding plans, Rob told People mag, “Planning what now?” He also told Howard Stern he was only “kind of” engaged in a recent interview. But don’t count on Rob and FKA staying broken up forever; according to the insider, FKA will always be “the one” for Rob!
“They did break up. It was very recent,” the source told People magazine, noting that time apart and distance contributed to the decision to split.
“He is on a press tour and she is working on her new album. And I think it’s timing,” the insider explained.
“They’ve been all over the place. They have not seen each other in probably two months,” the source added. “It wasn’t vicious.”
The insider even thinks there’s hope for Rob and FKA yet: “I think they will eventually get back together. He still loves her and I think that’s the girl he wants to marry.”
“It’s not out of the realm of possibility that they could get back together and it’s more like they are taking a break,” the source explained. “It’s not like he asked for the ring. She still has it.”
