Exactly six months ago, 71 people died and hundreds were made homeless when London’s Grenfell Tower caught fire. Today, more than 1,500 people gathered at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London to remember the victims of the horrific tragedy. The community received support from several of England’s most high profile figures, including Kate Middleton and Prince William, Prince Harry, Adele, and even Carey Mulligan.
Kate, Will, and Harry attended the service together. Harry's bride-to-be Meghan Markle was not in attendance.
They were joined by Prince Charles and Camilla.
After the service, victims’ families gathered on the steps of the cathedral.
White roses, like the one Adele carried out, were held by families of victims.
Carey attended the service with her husband, Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford.
The royal family sat in the front row during the hour-long service.
After the memorial, the royals spoke with families affected by the fire.
Kate, who is currently pregnant with her and Will's third child, met with those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire earlier this week when she handed out gifts to parents and their children at the Rugby Portobello Trust community center on Tuesday.
