Kensington Palace is all atwitter as they announced earlier this morning that Prince Harry and his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle are engaged! Since the world has found out about the exciting news, members of the Royal Family have expressed their well wishes via social media, including his father Prince Charles, about their upcoming nuptials!
The news first broke via the Clarence House official Twitter page, which is a royal residence in London. The tweet shared that the couple is in fact engaged and they are looking to do their wedding in the spring of 2018.
They also shared that Harry & Meghan were actually engaged earlier this month, but the official announcement didn’t come until today.
The Royal Family seems positively thrilled about the couple’s decision to wed, in particular his brother Prince William and sister in law Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of of Cambridge!
"We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together,” the official Kensington Palace Twitter account revealed.

His father, Prince Charles, and The Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker Bowles, also shared their excitement for the betrothed couple, saying "We're thrilled. We're both thrilled. We hope they'll be very happy indeed."
It looks like’s Harry’s grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, are also elated about the couple’s engagement.
The Royal Family Twitter account announced that "The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness.” Looks like great news all around for the happy couple!
