Although the Oscar-nominated film La La Land sent a cool $20 million into Ryan Gosling's pocket, insiders close to the star say that he is "absolutely miserable."
“Forget about Eva’s absence from his side at the awards, he’s in hot water with Lionsgate for sniggering when La La Land had to hand the Best Picture Oscar back. Even worse, they’re blaming him for NOT winning it as he did very little to campaign after his Globes win," a worried friend dished out to OK! exclusively.
In addition to those troubles, "He’s also got epic problems with his family back home who cannot stand Eva and her snobbery. His dad doesn’t speak to him and one of his cousins is very ill."
Where's wifey when you need her? "With very little sympathy or support from Eva, he’s really cracking up."
"He’s not sleeping, never returns calls and is leaning more on his sister Mandi than anyone else right now,” the source continued.
