Sarah Hyland thinks her Modern Family character, Haley Dunphy, might be killed off this season, she recently confessed during an interview at the Emmys. The actress wouldn't be heartbroken if it happened, either, as she said she's ready to move on from comedy. Read on for more details.

After it was revealed that a significant character would die on Modern Family this season, Sarah told reporters,  "I have no idea. I don't even know. Could be me. Goodbye Haley Dunphy. Who knows?"

But even if her character is the one to go, Sarah said she's ready to move on from the role.

"For 14 years I did dramas, so I'm excited to possibly get back into dramas," the actress explained. "I would really love to do some action."

"I just find it invigorating and I've done some action work on things before and some wirework and I just absolutely loved it," she continued, "so I would love to do more things like that in film."

"If that means I have to knock doors down then I will," Sarah said. "I will refuse to be kept in a pigeonhole that is Haley Dunphy."
