Selena Gomez turned her appearance on the Frozen 2 red carpet into a family affair! On Thursday, November 7, the singer, 27, attended the premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California and she brought her 6-year-old sister Gracie along for the ride. The pair even wore adorable matching outfits for their night out!
The two wore long white floral-print dresses that featured bell sleeves. They added floor-length cloaks that were accented with feathers and sequins.
Selena pulled her hair into two braids while Gracie’s blonde hair was pulled back. The sisters held hands and were all smiles for the camera.
Joining, the “Lose You To Love Me” singer on the red carpet was the film’s stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Sterling K. Brown, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, and Evan Rachel Wood, among others. Frozen 2 was directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and is slated to hit theaters on November 22.
Though Selena has been working hard on her own comeback — she recently released two new singles — she is making sure to not overwhelm herself too much. The former Disney Channel star revealed that even though she hasn't toured since The Revival Tour in 2016, she's not sure that it's something she's ready to do yet. "I actually haven’t had the full conversation yet,” Selena told Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
“It’s something I really care about because it’s the only real moment I can look at people and thank my fans and enjoy what I’ve done with them and feel safe," she said, stressing the importance of touring. "I always feel safe.”
However, Selena detailed the realities and hardships of being on the road for so long. “But it was really hard on me. It was a lot of isolation and a lot of work,” she explained. “But, that’s not what bothered me — I think it was just more internal. I just didn’t know if I had the strength to get through that before. I’m not quite sure, but I know that it’s important to me. So I’ll figure it out.”
