Serena Williams is finally opening up about her engagement to Reddit Co-Founder Alexis Ohanian, gushing during a press conference after her winning match at the 2017 Australian Open.
The two announced their engagement last month on Reddit and Serena's been someone secretive about the relationship, posting photos to Instagram with her ring concealed, in one photo with the taco emoji.

Now the tennis pro is talking openly about her engagement with Ohanian to the press. “It feels good,” she told reporters when asked if she feels different since the engagement.

But she's not letting wedding planning distract her from the game. "I really haven't thought about it too much, because I wasn't even really gonna think about it until after the tournament," she said. "So, I just keep saying, 'February, I'll start looking at the bigger picture of my life.' But right now, I’m just so focused that this is all I can think about.”

Her focus has paid off, Williams beat Belinda Bencic 6-4, 6-3 during day two of the tournament in Melbourne. "I didn't come here to lose in the first round, or the second round, or at all," Williams said. "If I can play the way I've been practicing, it will be fine."

When Williams announced her engagement in a Reddit thread entitled “I Said Yes,” she revealed that Ohanian surprised her by flying her to Rome, which is where they had their first date, where he proposed.
