Shannon Beador has filed for divorce from husband David after 17 years of marriage. The Real Housewives of Orange County star officially filed for divorce on Friday in Orange County Superior Court, according to The Blast, after separating in October. Click through for more details of their split!
It's not shocking to fans that they're calling it quits, as their relationship has been publicly on the rocks for a while now.
On the show, David admitted he'd cheated on Shannon during season 10. Yet, on season 11, the couple renewed their vows. However, their problems clearly didn't end there.
After Shannon gained 40 pounds, her husband became distant from her and their sex life suffered. The stress from her marriage only caused her to eat more. She's said they were more like roommates than spouses.
"I felt alone in my marriage," Shannon told People a few months ago. "You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties."
Shannon is currently seeking full custody of her and David's three children.
