Shannon Beador is speaking out about her weight gain before the premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County tonight. The Bravo star has gained 40 pounds since last season, when Vicki Gunvalson accused Shannon’s husband David Beador of abusing her. “I knew an allegation was put out there about my husband,” Shannon says in a clip for the upcoming show. “That stress caused me to eat more, caused me to drink more and that's a huge part of why I gained my weight.” And now, Shannon is opening up to her fans — and the haters — about her weight via a post on Instagram. “So let's just get to it. Yes, I have gained weight. A lot of weight. About 40 pounds to be exact,” Shannon began her post.

“I have not had plastic surgery or fillers, it's just plain and simple weight gain,” Shannon continued. “There are multiple factors that have contributed to my size and it will be addressed this season on the show.”
