The show must go on! Despite Sig Hansen being accused of sexually abusing his own daughter, the show he stars on, Deadliest Catch, revealed the sick allegations are not going to cause the show to leave the air. 28-year-old Melissa Eckstrom filed court documents in Seattle, Washington claiming that Sig molested her in 1990, after he had separated from her mother.

A rep for the show told Fox News, "A court reviewed the facts 25 years ago and found there was no merit to the allegations. Out of respect for the family and all those involved, we will refrain from commenting any further. This does not impact the show."

Meanwhile, Sig released a statement also denying his daughter's abuse. He said in part, "I'm a pretty plain-spoken guy, and to me, this is nothing more than a shakedown," Hansen said. "The allegations are completely false, rehashed lies my ex-wife Lisa Eckstrom used nearly 30 years ago to take away my daughter, and has continued to try to use to extort money from me."

Melissa is now a family law attorney, and in a lawsuit she filed, she says that due to the alleged sexual assault when she was two-years-old, she dealt with eating disorders and suicidal thoughts.
