Craig Conover used to be friends with his ex-girlfriend Naomie Olindo’s new boyfriend! Her man, Metul Shah, made his Southern Charm debut on May 15 but it turns out he could have been on the show sooner. Craig opened up to Watch What Happens Live Host Andy Cohen about his feelings towards his former friend dating Naomie. Scroll through for more details.
A fan called in to ask Craig, 31, “What do you think about Naomi’s new boyfriend and how does he compare to you?”
He revealed, “We were friends actually before, not like close friends, but we knew each other. My problems were always me versus Naomi. It was never him. He didn’t come into the picture until after those fights were over.”
As Southern Charm fans know, Naomie, 26, and Craig’s drama played out heavily during season 5 of the show.

Craig assured Andy he had no beef with Metul and said, “I actually like the guy a lot and nothing against him. He’s a cool dude.”
He also admitted in a game of “marry, shag, kill” that he still would get hot and heavy with his ex. Craig told Andy, “This is so f**ked up. Marry Chelsea Meissner, have sex with Naomi, kill Kathryn Dennis. I love Kathryn so much! But that was the game.”
Naomie recently opened up about her new boyfriend appearing on the show and told Decider, “It took a long, long time. He wanted nothing to do with it. But he did it for me which is really nice. I know he didn’t want to. But he handled it like a champ.”
