Susan Sarandon Has A Black Eye, Broken Nose & Concussion After Suffering Nasty Fall

Ouch! Susan Sarandon gave fans an update on her health after she took a nasty tumble. The Feud: Bette and Joan star shared a photo of her black eye on Monday, November 25, and revealed she went to the ER following the painful fall.

Susan, 73, posted on Instagram a closeup shot of her bruised eye. "I’m lucky. I have Medicare to cover my visit to ER. Everyone deserves the same, not access, not pathway to, not option. M4A saves $. Nobody loses their home because of cancer, no rationing insulin. You know, like the rest of the free world," she captioned her selfie.

On November 22, the mother of three said she suffered a concussion, a broken nose and she banged up her knee in a social media post. Alongside a side-by-side photo of her injured face, she wrote that she was set to meet with senator Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire, but was forced to cancel due to her accident.

"A little slip = concussion, fractured nose, banged up knee. So, looks like I won’t be able to meet the folks in New Hampshire with Senator Sanders tomorrow. I’m really sorry I’ll miss that opportunity but here’s what I’d hoped to say," Susan began her lengthy caption.The Lovely Bones star added her speech that she was going to say had she been in New Hampshire.

Several friends commented on her post and sent her "get well soon" wishes. Michelle Pfeiffer commented, "Oh no! Feel better Sue!❤️?." One wrote, "Oh no!!!! Have a rest and feel better!!!!"

Susan accident came just days after her daughter, Eva Amurri Martino, and her husband Kyle Martino split after eight years together. Eva, 34, is currently pregnant with the couple's third child.

On November 15, Eva announced the news that she and Kyle, 38, were divorcing. “After a lot of thoughtful consideration, and work on our relationship, we have made the difficult decision to lovingly part ways as a couple,” Eva captioned a snap with Kyle and their two kids on Instagram. “We are committed to, and excited about, raising our three beautiful children as close friends and deep partners, and we have the utmost respect for one another.”

“We have realized over time that the best path to happiness for us as a family is in this different direction, and we look forward to forging ahead in to a new beautiful relationship. We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate this new transition for our family," the Undateable star continued.
