Tamar Braxton is sending out an PSA! The singer took to her Instagram Monday, November 4, to warn fans about the dangers of getting their eyelashes done by the wrong technician.
The Braxton Family Values star, 42, uploaded a selfie of herself showing the damage that her faux lashes had caused to her actual eyelashes. “Ladies wisely choose your girl! They have NO love for you if you walk around like that!! #Sorrytomylashes,” Tamar captioned the snap.
While the post had many fans laughing, it also opened up a serious dialog about the popular beauty trend and harm it could cause if not installed properly. Many fans exchanged their experiences in the comment section.
“This girl is crazy but it’s the truth hate when that sh*t be like that,” one person wrote. Another added, “Yoooooo. I had this after I got lashes for my 20th high school reunion!! Just walking around my corporate a** bank job with one long cluster on my right eye.” One fan who truly understood Tamar’s struggles wrote, “That’s me right now.”
However, eyelashes weren’t the only thing giving Tamar a hard time. Last Sunday, October 27, Tamar expressed on Instagram that her hair had ruined her whole weekend. “Your hair being f**ked up will ruin your ENTIRE weekend and plans,” the post wrote.

The post apparently struck a nerve and many fans offered some friendly advice. One user wrote, “OMG girl yes.” Another user added, “big big facts.”
“Girl throw one of your fierce wigs and step out or a hat. You are not defined by your outward beauty because true beauty comes from within you,” one person told the Celebrity Big Brother winner. “That’s where those African print head wraps come in. Girl. Get it right, wrap it tight,” a fourth person suggested.
Tamar hasn’t been afraid to be fully transparent when comes to her fan base. The singer recently shared a heartfelt message on her journey to rebuilding her life after divorcing her ex-husband Vincent Herbert. Tamar explained to fans that her new world is now built around her son Logan Herbert, her family and around boyfriend David Adefeso. "Everything I’ve lost, God is going to give right back and more… but THIS time, it will actually belong to me. I’ll keep it All forever!! I can’t believe he loves me THIS much!!! If he knows MY name, he knows yours too!!! GLORY,” the singer tweeted.
