Tamar Braxton had to cancel several public appearances promoting her new album, "Bluebird of Happiness," due to health issues. According to reports, the star is recovering from a bad reaction to flu medication. The "Love and War" singer took to Instagram to update fans on her status.
In her post, the star said: "#teamoverit #notagain #thisbluebirdisNOThappy"
According to reports, she saw an ear, nose and throat doctor and was prescribed a steroid for her throat.
However"The swelling was so severe once she returned to L.A. she was rushed to the ER," a source says.

In 2015, a sick Tamar was hospitalized for several pulmonary embolisms. When she was released, she shared an update with fans on Instagram.
Because of her illness, she had to cut her Dancing With The Stars run short, and now, her album has taken a back seat.
