Tamar Braxton's estranged husband Vince Herbert is in danger of having his royalties seized over his alleged failure to pay a $65,000 debt. Read on for all the details.
Court documents obtained by The Blast show that a company named Manhattan Leasing Enterprises is taking the steps to collect money owed to them by Vince.
They sued him for allegedly breaching a 2016 Rolls Royce lease and were awarded a $65,138.02 judgment. The company has claimed he hasn't paid any money since then.
Manhattan Leasing recently subpoenaed ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) to get answers about his income and royalties.
The company specifically wants to know what royalties he's earning for his work on songs by Tamar's sister Toni Braxton, Montell Jordan, Destiny's Child and more.
Manhattan Leasing believes he has enough royalties coming in from ASCAP to pay off his debt. A hearing is set to go down this month.
Vince's ex Tamar, who is currently still competing on Celebrity Big Brother, filed for divorce from him in October 2017.
She asked a judge to grant a default decision in their divorce case in October 2018 after he refused to respond in court.
