It’s just been five short days since Tamera Mowry’s niece, Alaina Housely, was confirmed among those killed in the California bar shooting earlier this month and The Real star has been reeling over the news. But on her son Aden’s birthday, she honored her on Instagram. Read on for the latest.
“Happy 6th birthday, Aden!” Tamera wrote on Instagram, alongside a pic of the little one with his late cousin Alaina.
The two couldn’t have looked happier in the photo as Alaina held a small bouquet of roses in her right hand and another bouquet of flowers on her left as she held her arm around her little cousin.
As Tamera revealed in the post, this was an old pic of the two together at Aden’s previous birthday party. “Alaina was excited to come to your birthday party. But as you said, Buddy, she lives in your heart now. We love you?,” she added in the post.

Alaina wore a pretty pale pink dress while the adorable Aden donned a white T-shirt and jeans as she showed off his beautiful brown curls.
As Ok! readers know, Tamera and her husband Adam released a heartbreaking statement after Alaina’s death was confirmed: “Our hearts are broken. Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner.”
