Eddie smiled and flexed for the camera in his hospital bed while showcasing some gear from Spartan Race, which is an incredibly difficult series of obstacle races that he has competed in.

He alerted his followers about the procedure he's having, called an ablation (surgical removal of body tissue) on Tuesday. "Wish me luck this week! It’s time for yet another Ablation," he wrote. "I’m in great hands with one of the best heart surgeons in the world. BUT, I need all the prayers I can get to get through this ablation. Thank you for all the love and support".

She shared a heavily doctored photo of her face in an effort to keep a smile on her husband's face during this tough time. "Trying to cheer this guy up and keep his mind off things," she wrote.

Eddie's heart problems have been well documented on and off RHOC. He had another procedure back in early June, which appeared to have gone well since he and Tamra headed to Cabo a week after.

A doctor (who has not treated Eddie in the past) weighed in on his heart issues earlier this year. The procedure he is currently undergoing is not deadly, and happens to be common for AFib (an irregular, often rapid heart rate that commonly causes poor blood flow). It has about an 85 percent success rate, but some may have to go through a second procedure, the latter which has rung true for him as he already experienced this back in April.
