Teresa Giudice isn’t letting her family’s legal troubles bring her down. While her husband Joe is in the midst of deportation proceedings, which RadarOnline.com first reported, the Real Housewives of New Jersey is living her best life! On Monday night, the mom of four even attended an exclusive event in Las Vegas, with her friend and RHONJ costar Dolores Catania by her side.
Teresa was all smiles with her pal Dolores as the two of them attended the launch of designer Jimmy DeLaurentis’ new furniture line in Las Vegas.
“Had a great time with @dolorescatania at the launch of my friend @jimmydelaurentis new JAMES furniture line,” Teresa wrote on Instagram. “LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Amalfi Collection!!”
While Teresa was having fun with Dolores, her husband Joe was continuing to serve his 41-month sentence for fraud charges at Allenwood prison in Pennsylvania. In June, an ICE spokesperson told Radar Joe was “in deportation proceedings while he’s in custody.”
Joe is a native of Italy and never became an American citizen. According to the insider, Joe could be deported before he’s completed his sentence. He was initially scheduled for release in March 2019. If he completes his sentence in the U.S., he will be transferred to ICE rather than returning home to NJ, Radar reported.
While Joe’s deportation news is a tragic blow for the Giudice family, an insider told Radar that Teresa is already cashing in on the tragedy! “Teresa was offered big bucks to film a special about Joe’s deportation and she agreed to do it,” the source told the site. “Half a million dollars to share the story on camera."
“It is going to be like the other specials when she was in prison. and will show how she and Joe and the girls are handling the scary prospect of Joe getting deported,” the insider dished.
