Andy Cohen opened up the reunion special by discussing Giudice’s 15-month prison sentence. The jail-bound reality star was calm until a clip from the season played of Giudice’s aunt, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri’s mother, saying, “When you don’t do the right thing… it always catches up with you.” This statement forced Giudice to say while storming off the set, “I need a break. You guys can have the conversation without me… I don’t want to be there with that conversation. To me family doesn’t act like that.”

Wakile defended her mother by explaining that she only meant if “you make mistakes and they catch up to you.”

Manzo brought drama of her own to the reunion when Cohen asked if the reason she returned to the show was because of her sister Caroline Manzo was no longer on it. “That did have something to do with it. I would never do a show with family again. It’s just not a healthy environment,” Manzo explained.

After years on the outs, could they finally overcome their differences? When asked if Dina would join a drama-free cooking show with her sister, Manzo said, “I absolutely would. I love my sister. I’m not going to get into this show with a sibling.” She also explained that their estrangement is more of a break than anything else.

The emotional discussion ended with Manzo explaining her heartbreak that the family did not attend her daughter Lexi’s graduation party. She said, “I would love for them all to just show up and everything to just go away. I tried to squash it a million times in the press and say everything was fine, hoping they would go along with it and you see each other and everything goes back to normal, but it somehow doesn’t go away.”

Using the show as a platform to spread awareness of breast cancer, Marchese was asked by Cohen if people have accused her of playing the cancer card. When she explained that the twins said she did on Watch What Happens Live, Napolitano insisted she refer to them by name. “Sometimes I just match you together,” Marchese explained.

Aprea fired back, “You have a brain. You know the difference!”

Marchese then explained why her husband, Jim Marchese, treats the other housewives so disrecpectfully. “You act like a lady, he’ll treat you like a lady,” Marchese said. “You act like a barbarian then you’ll be treated like a barbarian.”

Despite the explanation, Aprea couldn’t find anything good to say about Jim Marchese. “I personally can’t say anything nice about him. I think every single one of us here was just beaten down by him… I’ve never been around such an abusive person.”

Watch part two of the reunion special on Thursday, November 6th at 8pm on Bravo.
