Teresa Giudice is counting down the days until her release from prison, but the reality TV star is already facing some slightly somber news about her return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey — her salary got cut!
A source speaking to RadarOnline.com has revealed that 43-year-old Giudice’s salary for RHONJ’s upcoming Season 7 was slashed for a very specific reason! “Bravo cut the RHONJ budget in half,” a source told Radar. “They cut the budget because the ratings for Teresa’s special were so bad.”
The source added that the amount of money being spent on RHONJ has decreased over the past few seasons!
“They used to spend around $6 million on Jersey,” the source said. “Now they are spending less than $3 million.” But despite the lower budget, Giudice is still making a hefty amount for the show. “Teresa is getting $1 million, and Melissa Gorga is getting $750,000,” the source said. “They have their contracts and have signed.”
Giudice’s return to RHONJ will be a major moment for the reality TV star following her lengthy imprisonment.

But the insider said that the full cast for RHONJ’s Season 7 hasn’t been solidified as they continue to test a few additional prospects.
