We'd like to have a little chat with the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press after the list of nominees for the 2014 Golden Globe awards came out this morning. So many of our favorite shows/actors/movies got nothin'! Read on for the 9 snubs we're most upset about (honestly, though, there are probably dozens more that should be on here) and why James Gandolfini, Ty Burrell, Claire Danes and more deserved a nod or two.

Dallas Buyers Club

Both Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto got noms in the Best Actor/Best Supporting Actor in a Drama category, but the movie itself, Dallas Buyers Club, got no love for Best Motion Picture, Drama. What gives, Hollywood Foreign Press?

Homeland

Claire Danes and Damien Lewis have both been big winners in Golden Globes past, but this year, both actors and their show, Homeland, got nada. Maybe that's because Brody has been MIA for half of this season? Still though.

The Butler

Critics, fans and internet-users in general are shocked that The Butler got nothing. Nothing! Forest Whitaker got noticed by the SAG Awards, but the movie, the actors, and the director of the film all got snubbed in the Globes categories.

Scarlett Johansson's voice is a major part of Her, which got nominated in a multitude of movie categories, but experts are shocked that ScarJo herself didn't get a nod.

The Wolf of Wall Street is up for Best Motion Picture and Leonardo DiCaprio is up for Best Actor, Motion Picture Drama, but nothing for its director, Martin Scorcese? That's just blasphemy.

New Girl

Congrats are in order for Zooey Deschanel, up for Best Actress in a Comedy, but New Girl itself got no love in the Best Comedy category. Girls, Modern Family and Parks and Recreation did, though.

Enough Said

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is up for Best Actress is a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for Enough Said, but her co-star, the late James Gandolfini, got nothing. He got a SAG nom though, so let's hope he wins that one.

30 Rock

The cast of 30 Rock are used to sweeping at awards shows like the Globes, but host Tina Fey, Will Forte, Alec Baldwin—none of them got nods this year! Sure, the show ended in February, but still, the list feels empty without them.

Ty Burrell

All of the adults on Modern Family have been nominated for Golden Globes at least once, but this year, the only actor who got an individual nod is Sofia Vergara. None for Ty Burrell or Julie Bowen.
