Jeannie Mai and The Real cohosts were discussing how much PDA they think is appropriate in front of specific family members. On the December 6 episode, she shared a mortifying story about how her mom called Jeezy out for PDA at the dinner table!
“So ladies, do you think it is okay to do a little Christmas caressing with your man, and how much is too much?” Jeannie, 40, asked her cohosts.
Loni Love took the lead on the conversation. “I think it depends on who the family member is,” she said. “My grandma is very, very religious, very, very spiritual. She don't want to see all of that. She can’t remember this since the 1800s.”
The comedian continued, “If it's your mom, I think a kiss on the cheek is good, you know what I mean? A little peck. Not, like, French, all of that.”
Loni, 48, grabbed guest cohost Tisha Campbell and pretended to make out with her before explaining, “A sister, you can get hot with and be like ‘Look at what I've got. This is mine right there.’”
“If it's your brother, I think you can just kind of rub, you know, just show your brother that he’s cool and everything, so rubbing the back, caressing, yeah," she said.
Jeannie recently spent the holidays with Jeezy’s family. She told her cohosts, “Okay, so, in front of his family, I have to obviously respect his family and see what they are like.”
“In front of my family Mama Mai is going to be the first to call it out,” Jeannie revealed. “Sometimes he will give me a look, you know, just a look across the table, just something meant for us. But my mom is the biggest killjoy. She is the one, ‘I see you two want to have the sex right now!’ She said that when he was over for dinner, and I was like, ‘Shut up!’”
Jeannie clarified, “I would never do tongue, but I think it is nice to have a little hand squeeze, a little moment. If you're really having people over, I think you have a little mistletoe somewhere for the couples to have a little moment, right? Have a little photo booth area.”
