Given the societal pressures placed on women, many would shy away from sharing their weight on national television, but the fearless ladies from The Real put everything out there! Co-hosts Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry, and Jeannie Mai bravely opened up about their weight on International Women’s Day!
The hosts were inspired by Chrissy Teigen’s Instagram of John Legend fake baby milestone board. The milestone board revealed John, 40, weighed 184 pounds.
Adrienne, 35, then revealed she weighs 121 pounds, Tamera, 40, said she weighs 150 pounds, and Jeannie, 40, said she weighed 120 pounds.
Loni, 47, jokingly responded, “none of your business.” The comedian previously told the audience on February 22 that she was gaining “happy weight” since she began dating her boyfriend James Welsh.
Jeannie has also been very candid about her weight in the past because of her eating disorder battle. On a recent episode of The Real she told fans she unintentionally lost the weight she’s been working on gaining during her recovery.
The ladies of The Real also slammed clothing brands for setting unrealistic standards on the March 8 show. Jeannie said, “It’s not just models buying your things. Your consumers are real women with real-life sizes.”
Jeannie and Loni simultaneously expressed, “The average size is 10-12!”
