The Weeknd Gets Candid On His Relationship With Bella Hadid And Losing His Virginity

The man behind the voice. The normally private The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, sat down for a candid interview with Rolling Stone, where he revealed how he lost his virginity and opened up about his relationship with Bella Hadid.

When it comes to losing his v-card Abel says he told a girl he was a student in college – when he was actually just 16 – to get her in bed with him.

"I could have been a student at fu*kin' McDonald's, she was so drunk," he said. "I was drunk too. It was the worst experience of my life. Losing your virginity to an older woman sounds good, but it was kinda like, 'Oh sh*t, it's done?'"

While Abel didn’t see himself as much of a ladies’ man before the fame, The Weeknd sure does now. During his interview the singer confessed that, "the line 'Back then, ho's didn't want me/Now I'm hot, ho's all on me' is definitely relevant," in describing his love life.

"I actually asked her to be on the artwork for Beauty Behind the Madness," he said. "My motive was literally to work with her." But she declined so "I was like, 'All right, cool — we can meet up face-to-face.'"

The meet up was an obvious success as the the 25-year-old singer gushed over his girlfriend’s work ethic, as well as her close relationship with her family and her secret equestrian skills, which was even news to him as he first heard about her riding abilities in the news.
