The Weeknd feuding with Justin Bieber may be the biggest beef in the music industry over a female since Chris Brown and Drake going to war over Rihanna! Justin seems to have the upper hand at the moment though, considering he was spotted over the weekend (no pun intended) with Selena Gomez at breakfast before heading to church service. The Weeknd has since unfollowed Selena's friends and family on Instagram, though he still follows his girlfriend. Back in January, when Selena and The Weeknd first went public, a videographer saw Justin leaving the Hollywood hotspot Delilah and followed him to his car. When he asked, “Can you listen to a Weeknd song?” Justin was quite blunt, saying, “Hell no… That’s whack.”
Then, a month later, Justin skipped the Grammy Awards, though he was up for four trophies! Ironically, The Weeknd was a performer at the awards show.
Instead of going to the awards show, Justin grabbed dinner with a friend and streamed a video on Instagram where that same friend asks him what his favorite song is right now, and Justin answers “Starboy" by The Weeknd before bursting out into laughter. Sarcasm much?
The Weeknd didn't let that one go though. During a feature on the song “Some Way” by the Toronto rapper Nav, which was released in February, he sings, in part, “I think your girl, think your girl, fell in love with me. She say my fu** and my tongue game a remedy," which many thought was shade towards Justin.
Nowadays though, Justin may be having the last laugh. Not only is he spending more and more time with Selena, but also, it seems she and The Weeknd are having relationship trouble!
A witness told OK! exclusively that the other week, they were in New York City at the same time, but stayed in separate locations! The Weeknd even had a concert in the city last Thursday night, but his girlfriend didn't show! She normally attends his gigs, but this time, she headed back to LA.
