Tinsley Mortimer Bails On 'RHONY' Cast Trip To Mexico Amid Rumors She's Quitting The Show

Tinsley Mortimer was nowhere to be found during the Real Housewives of New York City's cast trip to Mexico. The reality star skipped the sunny vacation amid rumors that she's leaving the Bravo franchise.

Tinsley's costar Sonja Morgan shared several snaps from the trip and the 44-year-old was noticeably absent.  Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley and the newest housewife Leah McSweeney were all in attendance. “Retweet if you think we are sweet one #retreat #rhony girls,” Sonja, 56, captioned the pics on Twitter.

Another photo showed the ladies hugging each other on a beach. “With my girls in the #beach in #resort mode baaaaaby #rhony @Bravotv," Sonja wrote under the pic.

Back in early November, Tinsley bailed on RHONY filming to be with her then-boyfriend (now fiancé, Scott Kluth). A source told Page Six at the time that the socialite was supposed to be at the Eventi Hotel in Midtown to shoot with her cast, but friends of the Virginia native said she’s in Chicago where Scott lives.

Tinsley and Scott got engaged on November  25 in Chicago. The Coupon Cabin CEO proposed outside the Chicago Water Tower. The couple have been off and on for months. The pair first called it quits in 2018 but they reunited and tried to work out their differences before splitting for a second time in February 2019. They decided to give their relationship another shot after a trip to Toronto in October 2019.

Luann, 54, recently dished to TooFab that the Southern Charm: A Novel author is always welcome to the show. “You never know with Tinsley. She’s back to dating Scott, and I hope and pray it works out this time around. And, you know,” she added, “the door is always open if she needs to come back.”

Tinsley joined the cast in season nine and has been a staple of the series since 2017. A source told Us Weekly on November 5, just weeks before her engagement, that Tinsley is expected to leave New York and move to Chicago once season 12 of RHONY stops filming because “Scott is proposing soon." Another insider added, “She is moving for love. This is a very happy time in her life right now and everyone is rooting for her and Scott. They have addressed all their issues and no longer want to live without each other. She is very, very happy!”
