Tori Spelling has agreed to push back a lawsuit against Benihana, who she's blaming for burns she suffered after falling on an open hibachi grill in 2015, according to Daily Mail.
The actress alleges she sustained “deep second- and third-degree burn injuries” at a Benihana in Encino, California, in April 2015. She is suing the corporation for lost wages, medical expenses, and “general damage," according to reports.
People reported that Spelling endured severe injuries to her right arm that required skin graft surgery. The 44-year-old also underwent debridement, staged surgical excision, and multiple steroid injections, according to court documents.
“Tori hadn’t even started to eat when she slipped and fell. Not thinking, she grabbed onto the side of the hot grill and burned her arm,” a source told People shortly after the incident. “At the time, it didn’t seem as bad as the doctors told her it was the next day.”

The restaurant maintains that Spelling’s own conduct led to her injuries, and they're requesting the suit be thrown out and the actress pay their legal fees. People have speculated that Spelling is pushing for a settlement, as she and her husband have been experiencing financial problems for a while now.
Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott are currently hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.
