Trystan Reese and Biff Chaplow have just welcomed their first biological son! After a heartbreaking miscarriage, Trystan, a transgender man, successfully brought adorable baby Leo into the world on July 14.

“Leo’s the most delightful baby ever — he’s eating like a champ, sleeping well, and blessing us with lots of cuddles,” Trystan told People.

According to the report, Trystan was born with a female reproductive system, and the couple decided to conceive without the help of IVF.

“We decided that we wanted to grow our family and that this would be a really good way to do it,” Biff explained.

The road was not an easy one. Their first pregnancy ended with a miscarriage after six weeks.

Now, the couple is rejoicing as healthy baby Leo joins their two older children, whom they adopted from Biff's sister.

“It feels like an incredible relief for him to finally be here,” Trystan said. “We’ve waited so long to meet him, and worked so hard to bring him into this world, that it’s just a joy to be able to look at his face and hold his tiny hand and actually see him.”
