During the seventh season of Vanderpump Rules, Kristen Doute and her boyfriend Brian Carter were going through a rough patch. However, it doesn’t seem like the two managed to work through their differences once filming ended. When asked about the state of their relationship during the February 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Kristen appeared to be on the fence.
When a fan called into the show and asked the 36-year-old reality star if she and Carter were still together, she was reluctant to go into detail.
“You know what? I bleed myself out for the show,” she said. “I show every single second of everything and so for this, I'm just going to have to say we're working...we're figuring it out.”
She continued, “Especially if you want to talk about what's happening today with the show currently airing and what's been going on in our relationship over the past year...we're figuring it out. We'll let y'all know when we get to that place."
“Okay…doesn’t sound promising,” host Andy Cohen chimed in.
Following the airing of her WWHL episode, Kristen took to Instagram and posted a video thanking her girlfriends and fans. She said it's a "very difficult time" but "life is good."
On the February 18 episode of VPR, castmate Stassi Schroeder slammed Carter and claimed he was a terrible boyfriend. "Carter's not good for her!" she said. "They're miserable! She says this every day. This is not about her having anxiety about traveling. He does not give a f**k. He doesn't pay for anything, he doesn't pay rent, he doesn't do anything. He literally does nothing! Nothing."
