Kristen Doute and her boyfriend, now ex, Brian Carter are officially over! The Vanderpump Rules star revealed during part one of the reunion on May 6 that they split, much to the surprise of her costars. Scroll to find out more.
Andy Cohen asked Kristen, 36, “We will talk about this a little more later, but are you single right now?" She simply replied, “I am.”
The Bravo host seemed shocked and responded, “You are? Wow.” Tom Schwartz, Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor similarly reacted and said they had no clue.
The SURver just posted a picture at an event with Carter and Scheana Shay on the same day as the reunion. Although they were all smiles in the photo, Kristen took to her Instagram story and wrote, “Reunion days suck. Thank you to y’all that are always so loving and supportive.”
As VPR fans know, Kristen and her now ex-boyfriend, whom she met in 2015, had some explosive fights on this past season. They even admitted to going to couple’s therapy.
Kristen first addressed split rumors on Watch What Happens Live on February 18. “You know what? I bleed myself out for the show. I show every single second of everything and so for this, I'm just going to have to say we're working...we're figuring it out,” she told a fan.
Stassi, 30, kept urging her friend to dump Carter since she was financially supporting him. During the March 3 episode, Stassi got into an explosive fight with the photographer and screamed, “Look me in the eye and tell me that you guys are in an awesome relationship! I have text messages from Kristen always saying, 'I need to get a Xanax. I need to get some weed. I need something because Carter's being mean to me.' For years.”
