Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter Briana Culberson has been hospitalized due to complications from lupus. The Real Housewives of Orange County star’s son-in-law Ryan Culberson posted a pic of his ailing wife to Instagram, asking for prayers as she undergoes emergency surgery!
“Please keep my wife in your thoughts and prayers! Her lupus is causing inflammation around her heart and is causing it to go in and out of irregular heart rhythms now requiring her to have a cardiac ablation,” Ryan wrote alongside this photo of Briana in a hospital bed at UNC Health Care in North Carolina.
He added the hashtags, “#lupus #lupussucks #lupusawareness #f**klupus.”
Ryan also shared a video of him heading to the hospital with the couple's two children, Troy, 5, and Owen, 3.

Vicki previously revealed Briana’s diagnosis with lupus on the RHOC season 11 finale in 2016. Late last year, Vicki admitted her daughter hadn’t been having the easiest time.
“It’s been a tough year for her. She was back at the doctor on Friday. Lupus has affected part of her heart, it’s literally something every other week,” Vicki told Page Six. “She wants to work, she wants to be a nurse, but she’s limited.”
