Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay isn't taking any chances when it comes to her future fertility. Less than a year after she chose to freeze her eggs, the reality star is going through another round of the process to extract even more eggs for future pregnancies. The single starlet uploaded several videos of herself in the doctor's office on Monday, July 15.
Scheana, 34, gave herself a hormone shot in the abdomen in one of the clips. Fans questioned what she was doing so she decided to confirm things on Twitter. "Freezing my eggs. Round 2!" she tweeted.
The Bravo star first started the egg freezing process back in November 2018. Two months later in January 2019, she underwent the retrieval procedure.
"It would be very selfish of me to not do it now and then be, like, 40 and find the love of my life and be like, ‘I should have frozen my eggs when I was 33,'" the brunette beauty explained at the time.
Although some women have unpleasant experiences with the egg freezing process, Scheana claimed it was no big deal for her.
"Today’s the day! Bye bye eggs! For me personally, this has been a very easy, painless and awesome experience. Everyone is different I’m sure. I am single and no where near trying to have a baby," she wrote on Instagram on the egg retrieval day in January.
Scheana divorced husband Mike Shay in 2017. She went on to date several men, including actor Rob Valletta, Bachelorette alum Robby Hayes, and model Adam Spott.
