Joel Madden and Nicole Richie look like they are pretty happy and in love amid rumors that there is trouble in paradise. The petite star was seen having a ball at her Candidly Nicole season 2 premiere event.
The fun event took place at House of Harlow at The Grove in Los Angeles, and Nicole looked stylish in an orange slacks and black halter top. Joel kept his look pretty casual in a black shirt and vest, making sure all eyes were on his wife.
This is good to see considering just months earlier, friends close to the couple told RadarOnline that they were on the brink of breaking up. Those close to the two said they “do not think that their marriage is going to survive…If it wasn’t for the kids, they’d be divorced already.”
But since then, the relationship has seemingly moved along drama-free, and Nicole and Joel are reportedly even planning on moving into the same private community as Joel’s brother Benji and Cameron Diaz!
