Rapper Young Jeezy's Son Sustains 'Significant' Face Injury In Deadly Altercation In Georgia

Jadarius Jenkins, the son of rapper Young Jeezy (a.k.a Jay Wayne Jenkins), was injured in an altercation on December 16 in Georgia. Scroll through to get all the details.

The 22-year-old sustained a “significant” wound to his face during the incident on Sunday in Warner Robins, Georgia, which is about 100 miles south of Atlanta.

When police arrived they found Joel Lamar Graham, 37, with at least one gunshot wound, according to an online statement written by the department. Joel later died in the hospital with an autopsy revealing he passed away as a result of two gunshot wounds, as recorded in the police report.

“We are grateful to law enforcement for releasing Jadarius after their preliminary investigation. He continues to receive medical treatment for the injury he endured during the incident,” Young Jeezy's attorney told People in a statement.

According to the Warner Robins Police Department, police officers responded to reports of shots being fired just after 8 a.m.

At this moment, what occurred before the altercation is still under investigation and no charges have been filed yet. The police are still investigating two burglaries that happened around the same time and may have involved the 37-year-old, according to the local news station 13WMAZ. The police has yet to confirm if the incidents were related to the altercation.

On Thursday, December 20, Jadarius posted a selfie video on his Instagram Story that showed his wound. Although he didn't mention his injury in the video, it clearly reveals a wound on the right side of his nose.
