Everyone's been talking about Meghan Markle and her recent engagement with Prince Harry. And now, a new video emerged of the actress at age 11 in her first TV appearance ever! The clip shows the princess-to-be speaking out against Proctor & Gamble -- a dishwasher soap manufacturer -- about a line in one of their commercials that she felt to be sexist. Young but fierce -- the actress' determination eventually got the company to change the commercial. Click through our gallery to see the video.

In 1993, Meghan appeared on a show called Nick News, which was an educational program for children, where she talked about her feelings toward commercial that she saw, that she felt to be sexist.

In the video, the Suits star explained that the commercial, which was for dishwashing soap, claimed that "women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans."

Markle didn't like this line, and decided to write a letter to the company that made the commercial, Proctor & Gamble. She also sent one to civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred, then-first lady Hillary Clinton and Nick News anchor Linda Ellerbee.

After receiving the letter, Ellerbee sent a camera crew to meet with little Meghan. "It was absolutely clear that this young woman was strong in her beliefs," she told Inside Edition. "It didn't matter that she was 11 years old. She believed in women and she believed in her own power and wasn't afraid to reach out and say, 'I want my power. I want my rights'."

Later, the commercial was changed to say "people" and not “women.”

"I don’t think it is right for kids to grow up thinking that mom does everything,” the actress said in the episode. “If you see something that you don’t like or offended by on television or any other place, write letters and send them to the right people and you can really make a difference, not just for yourself but for lots of other people.”

"I remember feeling shocked and angry and also just feeling so hurt," the 36-year-old said in a 2015 speech at the UN on International Women's Day. "It just wasn't right and something needed to be done."
