Zayn Malik has opened up about what his relationship is like with Gigi Hadid in the latest issue of GQ, where he discusses how she helps him with his anxiety and even gives a nod to her mother Yolanda.
Zayn appears on the July cover of GQ, which hits newsstands June 19.
A prime topic during the interview was his relationship with Gigi. The former One Direction member and supermodel initially broke up in early March after almost two and a half years together before reuniting in late April.
Looks like things are stronger than ever between the two. “We’re adults. We don’t need to put a label on it, make it something for people’s expectations....I’m really thankful that I met her,” he said, with adoration.
He also thanked her for helping him with the anxieties of being a celebrity. “We go to the farm. We have horses including one named Cool.” He even gave a nod to her mother Yolanda, saying that she’s “really f***ing cool.”
To him, Gigi’s hyper-organized, clear-headed, and positive. “She’s helped me to look at things from a positive angle....She doesn’t handle my finances yet,” he said. “We’ll get to that eventually.”
