Zooey Deschanel seems to be swiftly moving on from her split from ex-husband Jacob Pechenik. Just a week after the actress announced plans for divorce on September 6, she stepped out with new boyfriend Jonathan Scott.

According to HollywoodLife.com, Zooey, 39, and Jonathan, 41, were photographed on a date at Little Dom’s restaurant in Silver Lake, California on September 13. The pair held hands as they entered the trendy eatery.

The Property Brother star confirmed to Us Weekly on the same day that he was in fact dating someone new, but refused to dish on the identity of his new ladylove. “I am seeing someone,” he said. “I’m a very private person, so I don’t typically talk about that. It’s definitely special for me because I am the guy who raises the bar in what I’m looking for in a partner. I was caught a little off guard. It was definitely a pleasant surprise.”

While the Vancouver native and the She & Him singer were spotted out together on September 13, their romance may have been blossoming underneath the radar. In August, Zooey and her sister, Emily Deschanel, filmed a Carpool Karaoke segment for host James Corden with Jonathan and his brother, Drew Scott.

In a statement the couple released following the split read, "After much discussion and a long period of contemplation we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners. We remain committed to our business, our values and most of all our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time."
