Is she or isn’t she? Journalist Alicia Quarles is keeping us guessing on whether or not she is officially joining The Real Housewives of New York City.

“I can’t confirm nor deny,” the fashionista told host David Yontef on the podcast “Behind the Velvet Rope.”

“Listen, I’m the ultimate New Yorker,” she said. “So I’m just saying if it happens, it’s all good.”

OK! exclusively reported back in July that the Daily Mail TV correspondent — who is married to husband Michael Ross — would join the hit TV show to “increase diversity.”

“Alicia deserves to be on the show because of who she is,” said the source. “But there is no doubt that recent events across the country provided a reckoning for television producers, and the Housewives have not been immune to that.”

Now that Tinsley Mortimer and fan favorite Dorinda Medley — who is leaving the show after six seasons — are out, rumors have been circling about who will join the cast.

Another name being thrown out there is Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel. Newcomer Leah McSweeney recently addressed the casting rumors, telling Extra: “I don’t know her personally,” when asked about Uchitel joining the show.

When asked about who she would pick to replace Medley and Mortimer, she said: “My sister of course,” referring to her sister Sarah.

Quarles though seems like a good fit for the show, as she is friends with most of the remaining cast. “They’re wonderful. It’s a bomb franchise. So you know, it’s gonna be what it’s gonna be,” the TV personality told host David Yontef.

“I’ve actually, I’ve known Bethenny Frankel the longest,” she said. “I’ve known LuAnn de Lesseps the longest after that, probably over 10 years… We just connected. We were at a charity event in the Hampton's with my ex-husband’s organization. LuAnn was there. I was there. We were both bored. And we just, we bonded. We’ve been getting into trouble ever since.”

The former E! News correspondent also commented that Medleys' exit from the show was a “big loss” for the franchise. “I know Dorinda personally so maybe I’m biased. I think she had a rough season and a rough edit, but that happens to all of us. You know, she was finally mourning Richard. She was going through a lot and that played out on camera.”

“But I think for somebody that’s been a cast member for so long, you have to give them grace,” she added. “So I think viewers are going to miss her. I’m certainly going to miss her, but she’s a resilient person. She’s wonderful.”
