Carole Radziwill shocked Real Housewives of New York City fans when she announced she was leaving the hit Bravo show, but according to Rob Shuter, the housewife may not have had a choice!

In his hit podcast, Straight Shuter, Rob revealed that the show’s executive producer, Andy Cohen, was forced to choose between Carole and her best friend turned number one enemy, Bethenny Frankel, after “things got so bad” between the former friends.

“An executive producer is the boss,” Rob explained. “You can’t get on the Housewives unless he likes you.”

“Bethenny and Carole were once the best friends but now things are so ugly they can’t even be in the same room anymore. Drama is usually the lifeblood of reality shows, but things have got so nasty that the two of them refuse to film together,” Rob dished. “They did the reunion, and sources at the reunion tell me it was so toxic, it was so ugly, that they fought constantly, and they both decided one TV show is not big enough for Carole and Bethenny.”

While Andy may have sided with Bethenny and told Carole she had to go, Carole has been claiming on social media that she chose to leave the show. With Carole gone, insiders tell Rob Jill Zarin is in talks to return to RHONY! She could potentially take on a friend role and be there for Luann De Lesseps as the countess recovers from her second stint in rehab.

In addition to the Housewives, Rob dished on Meghan Markle as well. According to an insider, Meghan’s dad is planning on creating a traveling exhibition of Meghan’s belongings.

Rob also shared the inside scoop on Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s wedding — Selena Gomez is going to be invited!
