When Ashley Madekwe was prepping for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles last week, she was well aware that the day’s forecast predicted some seriously hot weather. In anticipation of the high temperature, Avon Global Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Andersen steered the actress towards a fresh-faced look.

“It was nearly 90 degrees in Los Angeles on Saturday, so we went with a pretty barely there makeup look for Ashley,” says Lauren.
To create a clean canvas, Lauren used YSL Touche Eclat Foundation as a base, then layered Laura Mercier bronzer on her cheeks.

Lauren used Avon True Color Eye Shadow Quad in Chocolate Sensation, sweeping the #3 brown shade across the lid, and blended out at the crease. She coated Ashley’s lashes with Avon’s Mega Effects Mascara and applied Votre Vu Brow Wax.
Avon Ultra Color Lipstick in Cherry Jubilee was the perfect shade to make Ashley’s lips pop.
