Adventures in Babysitting Blu-ray — One of the definitive way-over-the-top 1980s tween fantasies — fitting in alongside the likes of Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Goonies — the action-comedy stars Elisabeth Shue as a babysitter who lugs the kids she's watching around through a wild, dangerous night in Chicago to rescue her friend. Unabashedly silly and sprinkled with tons of memorable lines like ("Don't f--- with the babysitter"), the movie is an ever-rewatchable treat that's only gotten better with age. This barebones release seems disrespectful on the movie's 25th anniversary, but at least the movie is finally available in HD.

Clue: The Movie Blu-ray — One of the few films based on a board game or subtitled with "The Movie" to be actually watchable, the unapologetically silly 1985 comedic mystery rounds up Christopher Lloyd, Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry and Madeline Kahn to bring the game's iconic characters to life... and death. Secluded in a New England mansion in the 1950s, the murder suspects engage in a battle of one-upsmanship as the whodunnit unravels. The disc includes three alternate endings.

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax — Dr. Seuss's environmentalist fable, about a cantankerous little creature who recounts the way rampant materialism destroyed his land's forest and wildlife. As is the case with most Seuss movies, there's not really enough material to justify a full-length affair. Thankfully the dialogue and slapstick are up to par. The main draw is the voice cast, which includes Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Ed Helms and Taylor Swift. Filmmaker commentary, three animated shorts, a deleted scene and a forest of background featurettes buff up the package.

Forever Marilyn: The Blu-ray Collection — It may be morbid to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe's death, but this seven-film set is a classy, near-comprehensive tribute to some of the icon's greatest work. The Misfits (1961), Some Like it Hot (1959), How to Marry a Millionaire (1953), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), The Seven Year Itch (1955) and River of No Return (1954) captures the full spectrum of Monroe's acting accomplishments and ethereal screen persona in the prime of her career. The films have few extras. The only major Monroe movies the set is missing are The Prince and the Showgirl (1957) and All About Eve (1950).

High Fidelity Blu-ray — Probably the most true-to-tone adaptation of a Nick Hornby novel, the 2000 mid-life crisis comedy focuses on a burned out record store owner (John Cusack) with a penchant for coming up with top-5 lists for everything. who takes stock of his station in life and relationships. The thoughtful and funny movie served as a coming-out party for Jack Black, who steals all his scenes in a John Belushi manner. Deleted scenes and interviews with Cusack, who also produced and had a hand in writing the script, and director Stephen Frears round out the disc.
