Former That 70s Show star Lisa Robin Kelly went on Good Morning America to deny drug and spousal allegations and talk about her shocking mug shot. Do you think it helps her case to talk about this so publicly in the media? Or would she better off keeping quiet and trying to fix her life?
Lisa has suffered job loss, relationship problems and other difficulties because of her alcoholism and going on GMA to share her problems with the world isn’t going to help her stay sober or resolve her legal issues. The best thing Lisa can do is focus on her recovery so that she can put her life back in order. I hope the next photo we see of Lisa is a promo shot, not a mug shot!
Tip: Admitting you have a problem is the first step towards recovery.

Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have both now spoken out publicly about how they are handling their divorce and doing everything they can to make it easy for their kids. Is there any easy way to explain divorce to kids that makes it easy on them? Or should the parents have tried harder to make it work?
There is no easy way to tell your children that you’ve decided to divorce, but you can lessen their anxiety if you explain how this will affect their lives in terms of living arrangements, vacations, etc. Let your kids know how much you both love them and that even though your marriage is ending, the bond you share as parents will continue. Do not tell your kids that you are “thinking” about separating while you are still working on the marriage, wait until you’ve decided to divorce before sharing the news with your kids.
Tip: If your children are struggling with your impending divorce, consider family counseling to help them through the transition.
