Another Duggar TV Show? Jim Bob’s Cousin In Talks To Get Own Show

There’s a new Duggar in town and he’s ready for his close up.

According to RadarOnline.com, John Andrew Studdard is in talks for his own reality show and he wants to steal the spotlight from his famous cousins.

John, who’s mom is cousins with Duggar patriarch Jim Bob Duggar, was adopted into the controversial family as a young child.  However, despite their close family ties, John isn’t like his Duggar cousins and wants audiences to see that for themselves.

“I think their time is up,” John told Radar. “Producers reached out to me about doing a show because I have a unique storyline. Being Asian adopted into an all causation family living in the South. American needs me to fix their mess!”

John added that he believes he could “carry a show way better” because he is more open-minded than his traditional cousins.

“Every religion, gender, sexual orientation, and race is important,” he said. “I’m somewhat conservative, but I know how to keep my opinions to myself!”

He continued, “My show will be the real South, good style and a lot of colorful personalities. I could carry a show of my own with topics that could reach all audiences. I’m way more fun!”

Most recently, John spoke out against Jill’s husband Derick Dillard after he went on a homophobic Twitter rant attacking TLC stars Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent.

“Derick needs to keep his mouth shut,” he told Radar. “We don’t have to agree with someone’s life, but don’t speak out publically when you know you’re already disliked by half of America. As a public figure, he should stop being so harsh … I’m sick of hearing his homophobic cries for publicity.” Adding, “I believe love is everywhere. Everyone should just be happy!
