According to People, the former Bachelorette star got down on one knee on Sunday, while he and Ashley were filming for the upcoming fifth season of Bachelor In Paradise.
The couple’s Mexico engagement brings their relationship full-circle as the two met on the spin-off series’ second season three years ago.
While Ashley claimed to know Jared was “the one” when they first met, it took the 30-year-old a little longer – nearly three years to be exact – to reciprocate romantic feelings.
