Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi only got engaged a few short months ago, but their romance may have been doomed from the start.
According to People, Nick proposed with a ring from a past season of The Bachelorette! As fans know, Nick competed on two seasons of the show, and also did a run on Bachelor In Paradise. However, the ring is actually the one that Robby Hayes used to propose to JoJo Fletcher — right before he got rejected!
But while many women would be completely turned off by the situation, celebrity jeweler Neil Lane insists that the double-dip should not be a cause for concern, telling People, "If that particular ring wasn’t meant to find a home with JoJo, but rather spoke to Nick and Vanessa, then that’s the way it should be. It’s found its home.”
