Becca Kufrin Sends Home ‘One Of The Best Men’ In Shocking ‘Bachelorette’ Elimination
Becca Kufrin may have locked in her final two on Monday’s episode of The Bachelorette, but it was not without breaking one man’s heart.
Ahead of her second fantasy suite, Becca realized she did not see a future with Jason Tartick.
While it was a hard realization to face, she made the tough but necessary decision to send him packing, despite expressing her love for him.
“For the longest time, I could see everything with you,” she explained to Jason. “And I don’t know what my problem is, because you have been the most amazing, open person. But I can’t put you through an overnight and me through an overnight if it’s not 100 percent there.”
She later clarified that she had an epiphany during their afternoon date where she realized she had stronger feelings for both Garrett and Blake. However, that did not make saying goodbye any easier.
After a shocked Jason said his goodbyes, Becca was left wondering if she made the right decision.
“What did I just do? What am I doing?” she said. “He did not see that coming. And he was so confused. Honestly, in this situation, all I can give him or anyone is an answer and I couldn’t even do that. And he’s such a good guy. I’ve dated terrible people in the past and he’s such a good person. Jason is one of the best men I know. I literally just did to him what Arie did to me.”

After such a hard and surprising sendoff, Jason showed up ahead of the rose ceremony to get some form of closure.
In what was one of the most touching scenes of the season, he gifted Becca a scrapbook with all of their shared memories from their time together, poured his heart out one last time, and the two parted ways on good terms.
The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
