Ben Affleck’s 10-year marriage to Jennifer Garner may be over, but the actor isn’t letting his heartbreak show!
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star was in high spirits during his first public appearance since the divorce announcement on July 11.
During a panel discussion for the flick, the father of three wore his wedding ring and joked about taking on the role of Batman.
"I talked to director Zack Snyder about it, I was like, 'Are you sure?' And he was like, 'I have this vision and this idea for the guy and you're perfect for it... He's at the end of his rope, he's older, burning out,'" Ben quipped.
He then explained the moment he met The Dark Knight star Christian Bale while shopping for his son Samuel’s Halloween costume.

“We went to a costume store in Los Angeles and it was pretty empty and I turn around and it’s Christian Bale,” he said. “There he and I are standing in the Batman costume row. And I said, ‘you’re the best. You got any tips?’ He said, ‘make sure you don’t piss in that suit.’”
