Chance The Rapper Is Engaged To Longtime Girlfriend Kirsten Corley

Blessings are doing more than just falling into Chance The Rapper’s lap.

The 25-year-old artist — born Chancelor Jonathan Bennett — decided to take life by the horns and proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley on Wednesday, July 4, during a backyard barbeque.

In an Instagram video that has been shared across the social media platform, Chance is shown on one knee asking his future bride-to-be, “Kirsten Katrina Corley, will you make me a man and be my wife?”

The couple was surrounded by both friends and family for the special occasion, including their two-year-old daughter, Kensli, who hopped into her dad’s arms after her mommy said “yes!”

The "Blessings" rapper's younger brother, Taylor Bennett, shared the proposal news on Instagram.

“Proposed In The Hunninds,” he captioned a smiling picture of him and a friend beside the newly engaged couple. “@chancetherapper You A Real One! 7-4-18 #BlockBoys ?.”

Back in May, the rapper shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to Kirsten, captioning an Instagram series of some of their cutest photos, "From the beginning beginning to the end end. You are my oldest and best friend. You are responsible for everyone of the most wonderful things in my life. I’m forever grateful that God made me find you, and even more grateful that you made me find God. Forever and ever babe. Happy Birthday."
